Most of the books that are reviewed here on Neha’s Bookshelf have been purchased by me, given as a gift or checked out of a local library. While, I am more than happy, to accept books that have already been released or have been sitting on the shelves for a good while, I am also happy to receive ARCs and New Releases from authors, publishers, or publicists. Publishers, publicists or authors who want to request a review, can mail me at mehtanh [at] gmail [dot] com with the details and I’ll be happy to fit in your book if I can. Please do go through the entire review policy before contacting me.
I live in Mumbai, India, so please keep that in mind before requesting a review. If you can’t send me a hard copy of the book, I’m quite happy to read a digital copy.
I own a Sony Reader, so any eBooks you wish for me to review, please make sure, they are in a compatible format for my reader.

I read all types of books, fiction and non-fiction as long as they are interesting and well written.
Formats accepted
My favorite format is now the digital format, but I do accept other formats including paperback, hardbacks or audio books.
Series
I love reading series, but insist on reading them in order. If you want me to review a book that is not the first in the series, please send me the previous books as well.

Books Sent To Me for Review
I will review your book based on the characterization, plot, writing etc. I tr to be completely subjective in my ratings and will base my review only on my opinion of the book. It may not always be positive, but will be a honest review.
My rating scale is
5/5 – I absolutely loved it! It is a keeper and I will re-visit it.
4/5 – I really liked the book and will recommend it to others
3/5 – I liked the book, but was not very satisfied
2/5 – I finished it, but didn’t like it
1/5 – I didn’t like it and had to struggle to finish it
Details I will try to include
Publication Details: This will include: Title, Author, Date Published, Publisher, ISBN#, Genre, and My Rating.
Synopsis of the Book: Most books provide a synopsis/blurb/description on or in the book. In such cases, I will use it as a synopsis for the review.
My Review of the Book: I will review your book based on the characterization, plot, writing style etc. I try to be completely subjective in my ratings and will base my review only on my opinion of the book. It may not always be positive, but will be an honest review.
Link to buy the book: I will include a flipkart.com link to help readers directly buy the book from the website.

If there is a specific book that you would like to be posted by a certain date, please let me know. I will try and accommodate you. I like to think I am a relatively fast reader, therefore, I will try and get all reviews posted in a timely manner.
